Bambi Flight Plan Adaption

This tool allows to adapt flight plans (e.g., created with UGCS) regarding the characteristics required for flights in the context of the Bambi project. Please check every adapted plan before flight! We neither expressly nor by implication provide any warranty or guarantee, and provide no assurance in terms of the correctness and completeness of the adapated plans!

KML/KMZ Flight Plan Base plan that should be adapated. The given file is never shared or persisted and only used for the adaption.

Mission Name Name of the mission.

Target Drone We only support a limited number of drone models.

Global Height The default height used for the flight. Used as "safe height"

Use waypoint height If this box is checked, the height of waypoints will be used for the flight, otherwise the global height will be used.

Gimbal Pitch The pitch of the gimbal with -90 looking straight down and 0 looking straight forward in the direction of the flight.

Heading Direction The heading direction of drone with 0 looking to north, -90 looking to west and +90 looking to east.

Speed (m/s) The flight speed of the drone.

Waypoint Mode The mode how waypoints are addressed. Refer to DJI's description of this mode.

Reset zoom If this box is checked, the zoom level will be reset to the minimum level during the flight.

Corner Radius The radius used to smooth corners (only used for DJI M2EA or if "stop at way point" is not set as "Stop").

Apply actions at every waypoint If this box is checked, all actions (reset zoom, reset gimbal) are re-applied at every waypoint to ensure the state.
